I have my doubts about the Heritage Certificate. The interior leather of the car appears to be original and it is tan, not black. The exterior is now BRG but a previous owner told me it was originally dark blue. However, I suppose it could have been battleship grey but the interior definitely looks like the original as it is worn and the door trim and dash are all tan. I have owned the car for 3 1/2 years.

This is a solid XK140 SE Roadster with good bones on an older restoration showing patina. The mechanics on this car are solid, sound, and could be driven anywhere. The car is a numbers matching car with a vin number of S811235, engine number G2933-85, body number F11257, gearbox number GSL3169B.The car was built in march of 1955, imported by Max Hoffman. The body is solid and straight as the pictures reflect with good body panel gaps. The undercarriage is solid but not detailed. The electronics work on the car, the mechanics are rock solid. the chrome is older, the interior is in need of restoration. The paint is pretty and shiny but has a flaw here and there, the car is a very solid driver with the potential to make an exceptional show piece. The inner rockers are solid, the fenders are solid, the rocker panels are solid, trunk floor solid, everything is solid. Tires are Cokers. If you have been looking for a hard to find XK140 roadster, this is a rare SE model that can be driven home.
