From the private US collection of a respected Pebble Beach concours judge, the XK150 ‘S’ on offer is described as “one of the most amazing original cars I have seen”. It still has its original paint, interior, tonneau cover, hand tools, boot tools, spare wheel, working AM radio, keys, handbook and lubrication chart. Sold new to Mr Hiroshi Okada in New York, half a century it has covered just 63,000 miles and exudes character and history. The owner has just spent $15,000 on a major service to ensure everything works as it did when Mr Okada collected his new Jaguar at Christmas 1958: a rare survivor indeed…
