Looks like the body number for this one could be wrong. See previous car 670705.
    Perhaps F 1921??

Current bid $20,000 reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
Very early 1950 XK 120 Jaguar OTS- we started with a bare powder coated frame and assembled it from there.Any rust through in the body were replaced as a panel from Wray Schlim. The original 8 stud head was re-manufactured by Terry's Jaguar, the tall top carbs by Joe Curuto. The orignal pattern and color of interior is by Basset Jaguar. The brake cylinders were sleved and the lines are stainless steel. The wiring is all new with 7.7 headlights which were re-silvered and re-chromed. The battery is a 12V drycell but I have the covers for the twin 6V. The paint is base/clear coat which was god-awful to match. Total driven miles since completion is 649. The car has been described as over restored but I'm sure there are a couple of incorrect bolts somewhere. We have the "Heritage Certificate" confirming the colors and numbers. In the course of the 649 miles it has accumulater several ships in the paint along with slight "pimples" in the rear window chrome due to to long screws.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
