Sellers description:
This 1959 XK150S roadster is a fully matching number car. The numbers are as follows: chassis number T831661DN, body number F16677, engine number VS1494-9, and the gearbox number is JLS42238JS The head even matches the block. It has a 3.4 liter engine and of course being an S it has the overdrive transmission, dual fuel pumps, three carburetors and the posi-traction rear end. It also has the upgraded interior. The XK150S is the most desirable XK that was manufactured. There were very few made. This car has been sitting in a garage since 1977. The mileage of 21,353 is the actual mileage. The car has never been restored. The engine has never been out of the car. The original hoses and hose clamps are still on the car. The original Dunlop SP4 tires are still on the car and the original Dunlop balancing weights are still on the wheels and tires. The original Norelco radio is still in the car. If you want an original unmolested car to restore, this is the one. The color of the car was called Pearl White. The engine turns freely. The original jack and ratchet are still with the car, but unfortunately the original tools are missing. The pictures show the passenger side seat is missing, but it will be included with the car. The frame for the soft top is there. but the top itself is gone. The car is 100% complete except for the tools. The spare tire well has a hole in it, because when the car was transported on a flat bed something on the truck hit the spare tire well. This is not rust. The frame is in excellent condition, but the exhaust system is well rusted through. The bottom of the passenger door is going to need attention as well. The chrome bumpers and grill have no dents. I have the original owner's handbook with all his notes and documentations written in it. I have a clear title in hand.
