As reported in the June 2014 edition of the XK Gazette offered at:
www.classics-cabriolets.co.uk

A very attractive example of this rare original RHD "S" specification model in it's original Sherwood Green coloured paintwork with Biscuit Leather interior.

This is a matching numbers car as proven with its Jaguar Heritage Certificate.

It is believe that only 44 of this model where produced in this RHD "S" specification with the 250BHP engine, triple cars and uprated cylinder head.

This was a UK supplied car to Jaguar Distributor Walter E Sturgess of Leicester,
then sold to its first owner by Jaguar Dealer Castle's Motor Co of Leicester with its original registration number VJF 888, which it retains.

It was originally registered when new to an Italian Gentleman,
that lived in London SW1

In the late 70's he had the car repainted in its original colour with
some minor attention to its bodywork then on his retirement took the car to his property in Verona area of Italy, were it has resided, till we brought it back to UK earlier this year.

It now has a current V5C showing his registered owner details,
until transferred into our ownership & also with from DVLA records,
a copy of its original first logbook from 1959.

It also has its correct & complete toolkit fitted from new

We are looking for a serious offer over £65,000.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
