Marrickville, NSW, Australia

A sophisticated and elegant 1950s performance car, fitted with some sensible modifications.

Power comes from a 3.8-litre inline-six, coupled to a five-speed Tremec manual transmission.

The odometer shows 76,363 miles, and the car has benefitted from extensive maintenance between 2020 and 2023.

Understood to have been delivered as a left-hand-drive FHC, this car has been converted to right-hand drive, and has also had the body type converted to DHC specification.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

This Jaguar XK150 is finished in cream, complemented by a black roof, chrome body trims and a red leather-trimmed interior with red carpets, and a cream dashboard panel and roof lining.

It rides on 15-inch wire wheels with two-eared spinners, shod with Michelin tyres.

Equipment includes a four-spoke wood-trimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel, Smiths dials, and a locking glovebox.

Aside from the Tremec five-speed manual transmission, the car has also been fitted with power steering.

The original handbook will be included in the sale, along with a spare wheel and a collection of maintenance documents.

CONDITION

Specific notes from the seller include: wear on the seats.

The seller is not aware of any mechanical or electrical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY

Between 2020 and 2023, the car has undergone extensive maintenance, including with Tony Arditto Jaguar Services. Highlights include installation of an electric ignition, aluminium radiator, and electric fan, as well as repairs to the brake booster, front suspension, and clutch master cylinder.
