This is a very good driver-condition XK150 Roadster which has been in the current owner’s collection since 1964, where it shares garage space with 4 or 5 other XK Jaguars. Furthermore, it is a genuine 2 owner car from new with a recorded mileage of just fewer than 60,000. Being someone well versed in all things Jaguar, the owner has been fastidious about the mechanical maintenance of the car and has also carefully used it during sunny weekends rather than inclement weather.

Carrying chassis number S830482, the car has its original 3.4 liter block fitted now with a triple SU carburetor set-up, hard-to-find correct throttle linkages and an early XKE cylinder head, effectively bringing the spec up to full S model rating and therefore the S scripts have therefore been added to the flanks. Further improvements and mods include the fitting of racing-type bucket seats as would be found on a C-Type, a wood rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel and a louvered hood for cooling effectiveness and of course looks. Overall the Jaguar can be described as sound with very good shut lines and driving extremely well; just a patina of age shows on the paintwork but this should not deter from the driving experience. In fact the car was painted about 25 years ago from bare metal and with a two coat acrylic laquer which has now started to craze in places. There is no convertible top, only the frame, so a new soft top is needed. Basically the current owner has a crunch on garage space so this car is the one making way.
