Manufactured in 1958 this XK150 is finished in British Racing Green with complementing sage green hide interior. The car has been with the vendor since 1987, when it underwent a full restoration by Classic Cars International. The engine was rebuilt by Forward Engineering and the cylinder head was fitted with hardened valves and seats for unleaded fuel. A stainless steel exhaust system was also fitted and a pair of 2 inch SU carburettors which resulted in smoother running and increased power. To improve high speed running overdrive has been fitted and to reign in this added performance disc brakes are fitted all round.

Sitting on chrome wire wheels the car is described as being in very good condition and certainly a fine example of this ever appreciating model.

1958 June 150 Fixed head BRG and Sage Green interior. It has been in the hands of the current Lady vendor since 1987 when it underwent a full restoration by Classic Cars International. It sits on, what look like, 15-inch chrome wheels. The description highlights the disc brakes and overdrive that were largely standard anyway. A Discovery.

First rebuilt by Classic Cars International in 1989 after purchase from the Isle of Wight, and in current ownership where it has remained since 2009 the car has, once again, been subjected to extensive work by recognised Jaguar XK specialists Twyford Moors Motor Company. These works included the fitting of a replacement Jaguar XK140 engine bored nearer to 3.5litres and essentially prepared to a fast road specification but in a sympathetic and tasteful manner that hasn't altered the outward appearance of the car. Thankfully, the temptation to replace the original interior and seats with bucket style seating was resisted. The car now boasts a five speed gearbox helping to maximise the benefit from the throatier engine, electronic ignition, a Kenlowe fan for cooling and power steering.

Finished in the classic colour combination of British Racing Green with Olive Green Connolly hide and shod with the very sensible option of Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres mounted on chrome wire wheels, the car can handle the additional power and looks a million dollars.

The vehicle is accompanied by a Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirming the car to be a home market delivered, right hand drive example from new, and is further sold with a host of past invoices and correspondence, various MOTs confirming the mileage of some 85,000miles, and is now MOT exempt.
