For sale. 1958 Jaguar XK 150 Manual Overdrive. £39,995 ono or exchange. “This overdrive equipped car also has the highly desirable Power Steering Option (by Vicarage), which makes it drive very well indeed. It exhibits an impressive turn of speed with fruity exhaust note. Would make a very practical and usable touring car.

Its early life was spent in sunny South Africa where it was totally rebuilt to a very high standard. It was then exported to Jersey before being re-imported back to UK. Obviously a well serviced car with a file of maintenance bills totalling £5,400 including one for the fitting of five new chrome wire wheels and Avon tyres. The engine was reputedly rebuilt approx 15,000 miles ago and the regulation oil pressure at all revs would seem to corroborate this.

The Jag drives absolutely superbly with Power Steering and easily keeps up with modern traffic. Cruises smoothly all day at 70 mph, in overdrive, and the supplemental Kenlowe electric fan ensures optimal temperature control. The body is finished in rich Imperial Maroon and is immaculate, a true British classic sports car. Plush red hide (original) upholstery. headlining, seats, carpets, door cards are flawless, consistent with a cherished classic. This is a genuine 2 + 2 with 2 small, rear, bucket seats for children.

The car is supplied with Heritage Certificate, log books, Free tax disc, MoT, history file, hack & wheelbrace, owner’s handbook. Tailor-made lambs-wool car cover with Jaguar emblem.

You will not find an XK150 as good as this in faultless driving condition for under £40K anywhere. Further images of this amazing car on www.kultkars.net
