This beautiful drophead coupe is totally original and extraordinarily well preserved having led a very sheltered life. I have had the car since 1988 and it looks and drives beautifully. This is not a full nut and bolt restoration but a real, well sorted, 'driver's' car. The interior has just been replaced, all the woodwork re-varnished and there is a new stainless steel exhaust. The engine is excellent with a very good oil pressure and compression ratio. All the numbers match and the body, except for a re-spray, has never been damaged, needless to say it is 'straight' and the doors have very little play on them. The hood and headlining are new as well as the tyres and chrome wheels. All electrics work including the radio. It has the 'C' head and the breaks have just been completely re-furbished. Also the car has been 'Dinitrol' protected against rust. I have owned the car since 1988 and it has been parked in a heated garage since. I am a Jaguar enthusiast and this car is only for sale as I am emigrating abroad(retiring) and cannot take the car with me. A unique opportunity to purchase a lovely, totally original XK140 DHC at a competitive price.

I bought it 5 years ago from a Belgian living in UK. The car was in a terrible condition. 3 years of work were necessary.
Today the car is registered in Belgium nr O-AAT-846
I am member of the club "Jaguar Exclusive XK"
I would be very interrested in knowing the name of the successive American owners of this very nice car.
Best regards,
Emmanuel
