According to Swiss Customs: Exported out of Switzerland after beeing there 2 years only.
Might have ended up in Germany.
It is believed that the remains have formed a C-Type Replica.

The Jaguar C-Type presented here is an excellent "rebuild" on a GRP basis with aluminum. According to the existing documentation, the vehicle was built in 2004 by "Heritage" on the basis of a CH-Jaguar XK 140 3.4 Fixed Head Coupé of 5 October 1956. The first owner of the XK 140 was then a Madame Rita Roche from Geneva.
According to the existing documentation, the car was rebuilt as a C-Type in the UK in 2004 by Heritage. The most famous Swiss Jaguar specialist from the Lucerne hinterland brought the car on its own axis to Switzerland. According to him, this was a bitter cold affair. The transfer on its own axis to Switzerland is a typical C-Type character characteristic, at the time, the C-types were also on their own axis to the first races. There is probably no better test for real use. A highly esteemed specialist in the Oldtimer scene would probably write this sentence, "mechanically good, runs and turns beautiful".
Since the import into Switzerland, this C-Type had two owners and was only driven about 2000 kilometers. This is far too little a spotting for a cat, so she is looking for a "proper" home. The car will of course be delivered new from MFK and from service.
If you're still interested in reading, and are seriously thinking about buying this C-Type instead of an E-type, reject the idea very quickly. In contrast to an E-Type, this C-Type has absolutely no use value. A long weekend at Lake Garda, a week in South Tyrol are unreal thoughts, you can not carry any luggage with this car unless you leave the passenger at home. Whether this is a good thing for the better half, you must know for yourself.
In addition, the passenger must already be carved out of the right "wood". So a 3-weather taffeta lady is not suitable for this windy jaguar, it must be at least a 10-weather taffeta lady. But as you know for sure, these 10-weather taffeta ladies like to drive such cars themselves and you sit on the left, but on the "hot seat".
As can be seen in the pictures is also small dogs - Jack Russels are ideal (this is also confirmed by the Jaguar expert from Roggliswil) with the C-Type. The four-legged companion is protected against the wind and the weather by the two-piece spray cover. In addition, this colleague needs almost no luggage.
How much luggage you can carry with this C-Type can be seen on the last picture. (The female accessory is only intended for documentation purposes, it is not intended to define the largest possible cradle size of your passenger). Anything else you want to take must be in the leather or wax jacket.
Whether this Jaguar is experiencing an increase in value is in the stars. These C-types are certainly no longer cheaper. You will also find a wonderful original E-Type or XK for the same money.
But what I can guarantee for you, no E-Type, no XK and no XJ 220 - I have been allowed to drive them all - brings you the ultimate fun like this C-Type. The precise steering, the torque of the 4.2 liter Jaguar engine as well as the crisp 5-speed gearbox, simply pure joy of life.
From the "Fisherman's" advertisement deduces the conclusion: Is he too strong - are you too ...? It is up to you and your co-driver! You are ready?
