Black Beauty is a 140 MC FHC, overdrive.
Bought it in 1988, 3 american owners before me. Normal registration in France. 100.000 original miles. Very original but very scruffy, so dismantled it in 2000 and started a total restoration.
In the meantime bought a large house and restored it. Built large garage for all cars. Moved all parts in boxes, nothing lost. Now work is slowly picking up. Body repainted and most new parts bought. Engine excellent but head rebuilt for unleaded petrol. Gearbox and carbs rebuilt. This great car deserves the best.

All mechanical components now reunited. Car runs perfectly around the garden. Body fittings and interior slowly progressing.

Beautiful classic restored to as-new condition.
Great touring car in regular use.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
