    Ebay item 12/31/15
    www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XK140-MC-ROADSTER-1955-LHD-/281890414903
Classified ad price £65,000. Seller xke75.

    Sellers description:
1955 Jaguar XK140 MC, LHD. It was supplied new in California and has spent all it's life there so is consequently corrosion free and undamaged. An older restoration which still presents very well, although there are minor blemishes in the paintwork. Excellent burgundy leather interior and first class chromework (O/S rear overrider is slightly damaged). Drives exceptionally well and holds very good oil pressure. Supplied as standard with the 'C Type' cylinder head. Matching numbers with the Heritage certificate. UK registered with all duties paid. Virtually unused weather equipment. Chrome wires with white band radials. Simple and inexpensive to convert to RHD if you are that way inclined. A lovely looking 'driver quality' example.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
