My Father bought this car new in Mass. It was an " MC" He traded it in on July 29, 1958 to Auto Engineering in Lexington , Mass. on an XK-150S roadster.
I would love to know if this white XK-140MC is still in existence.

I have recently imported this car into the Uk as a project car for a body off restoration with Bristol Classics. I would be pleased to hear of any information regarding its history after it was sold to William Lightfoot's father.
Also pleased to send William information regarding its restoration.

My apologies but on checking the car and receiving its heritage certificate the car that I imported is S811760 NOT S811730 - the plate was not clear and a 6 was misinterpreted as a 3

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
