There is a very interesting article "Digging out Dad's 140" about this car and its recovery from a basement after many years in the February 2016 edition of the XK Gazette.

Noted on facebook, the car is now being sold by owner in Glasgow. The car was bought by his father in 1968 in Maidenhead, it sat under the house for 45 years. The car has a new chassis and the owner has other components. First registered in Edinburgh, last taxed in London. The original C-Type cylinder head now replaced with an A-Type head.
