    Car returns to ebay 7/10/17
    www.ebay.com/itm/1953-Jaguar-XK-/222575873564
Current bid $9,999 reserve not met, 1 bid 9 days left in auction, seller jhartpearl2012, 95k miles, car now said to be in Spring, Texas.

    Sellers description:
1953 SE JAGUAR XK-XK120 COUPE. Built for racing in the 1960's but never completed . has a very well made flip front made by a well known professional shop in long beach , Ca for a air force instructor . Car was professional built with custom work using only lead. Body and chassis are rust-corrosion free and doors fit very well. easy restoration to a restored racing xk 120 or bring back to original. chassis body have matching numbers. engine currently in car is a V8 BB, but have correct Jaguar DOHC engine and transmission for car that is included . never been in a accident ,will post pic later of engine . have speedometer and temp gage only. c/w car is driveshaft, gas tank and XK 120 manuals and exploded vintage history. The front end custom work on this car is amazing and in my opinion is nicer than original XK 120

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
