Restored 1955 Jaguar XK140 Roadster is White with a Black interior and Black Top. It was first sold to a gentleman in Beverly Hills, and it remained in California for most of its life. In 1986 it was sold to a collector in Wisconsin who put the car into storage when the mileage read around 42,000 miles. He pulled the car out of storage in 2001 and began a restoration which was completed in the fall of 2003. The odometer currently reads 48,101. This XK140 Roadster is in excellent condition both mechanicaly and cosmetically. The paint is like new, the chrome is excellent, and the engine comparment has been beautifully detailed. The engine has plenty of power, starts up immediately, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the overall the car is a pleasure to drive. The documenation accompanying the sale includes the original California bill of sale with a file folder of service and restoration records.

A genuine XK140M roadster, a C-Type head was added for additional performance, but we retained the original head which will be included in the sale. The body was restored by renowned mid-west experts Motion Products in Wisconsin to an extremely high level. The meticulous body restoration has held up extremely well as only the best paint jobs can. The restoration of the interior and engine bay were completed by Black Horse Garage. Black Horse Garage's own trim expert crafted a gorgeous black Connolly leather interior that sets off the flawless white paint perfectly, and the engine bay detailed to match the rest of the car.
