The car was put on add recently. Belonged to the same owner for the past 20 to 25 years. Nice driver in need of a serious tidying though. Extremely sound. On solid wheels. Been to see it for a friend who finally backed. Shame !Needs a good home for sure !!

The 1st Post-War Motor Show held in England opened on October 27, 1948. No one was prepared for the shock of the presentation on the Jaguar stand of a slim bronze-colored roadster, the XK 120.
William Lyons had just set the bar very high, as far as sports and production cars were concerned, 50 years later, we always look back on the superb line of the roadster and we listen with the same delight to the roar of the XK engine, 6 cylinders in line, 2 ACT. The roadster went into production in 1949 and demand was instantaneous. The first 244 units were fitted with an all-aluminum body.
Around the world, XK 120s crossed the finish line first.
Even today many XK 120s participate in rallies and provide a lot of pleasure to their drivers.
