    Ebay item 7/17/11
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1951-Jaguar-XK120-Roadster-Same-owner-since-1959-/260819 ...
Car has a buy it now price of $68,500 for 20 days.

    Sellers description:
1951 Jaguar XK120 Roadster Numbers matching. Green with a tan interior. 87,000 miles. Same owner since 1959. Complete with top, side curtains, jack, lug wrench, original owners manual, original factory shop manual. Car looks very nice, has a few minor paint chips and some crazing on one side skirt. Body is straight with no signs of ever being hit, underside is clean and rust free except for some rust on the bottom piece of sheet metal that houses the door hinges, however the hinges are solid and there is absolutely no sag to the doors at all. Car runs out nicely and feels good on the road.
According to Heritage certificate this car was produced on July 6, 1951. It was imported thru Hoffman and then sold. I believe that I got the car from the second owner who purchased the car on June 24th 1959 for which I have a copy of the sales receipt. This is one of the greatest 1950's era sports cars that you can still drive today and enjoy!

Car returns to ebay 9/10/13. Warning: this is a SUSPICIOUS auction. Mileage now claimed to be 29k and the car is said to be in Fenton, Missouri. Two photos are the same the others are different. Description is virtually the same. The lack of reserve and low starting bid are also negative signs.

Classified ad price: £80,000, seller dan37456, car now said to be in Earith, United Kingdom.

    Seller's description:

Jaguar XK120 Roadster 1951 LHD with matching numbers and heritage certificate.

British Jaguar racing green with tan leather interior. Complete with top, side curtains and original owners manual.

The good was in good overall condition when purchased, but much has been spent on improvements which include the following:

New sills, bespoke reconditioned steering box, reconditioned brake shoes, new leather upholstery and carpet, new stainless exhaust, new tyres, new mohair hood, new chrome bumpers front and rear.

The heritage certificate states the car was made on 6th July 1951. It was purchased and imported by me in 2012 from the United States.
