    Additional description from above seller:
1953 Jaguar XK120 DHC finished in metallic British Racing Green with sumptuous Burgundy hide interior with specially made bucket seats with art deco door panels, drinks compartment and red carpets. The interior is further enhanced with a bespoke walnut dash with modern accurate instrumentation and fitted with a beautifully lined mohair hood. This car was restored and enhanced to an individual specification by John May of XK Developments and is powered by a high torque Jaguar 4.2 engine coupled to a modern 5 speed Jaguar gearbox and high ratio rear axle giving the car a high cruising speed whilst using the minimum of revs. It has a discreetly widened rear track for improved road holding and boasts of power assisted steering via rack & pinion as opposed to the original and somewhat ponderous steering box. The steering column has been shortened and the rear scuttle modified so that a man of over 6'2" can now drive the car comfortably. The car is fitted with a Kenlowe electric fan and a louvered bonnet for improved engine cooling and small rear wing scoops and body coloured wire wheels with chrome spinners. In the hands of the present owner, the car has completed a rally to St Petersburg and back and behaved faultlessly. It is finished to very high exacting standards both mechanically and cosmetically and must be one of the most useable XK 120's in existence. Realistically priced for such an individual example at £115,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
