This car belongs to the Mondello Park museum in County Kildare, Republic of Ireland.
They are searching for the first owner of this car which was dispatched to Jaguar dealers Ritchies of Glasgow in 1951.
The car is a roadster red, originally silver with red trim, dispatched on January 31, 1951, to Jaguar dealers Ritchies.

This car has a substantial and well known period history and was the subject of an extensive restoration carried out by Jim Avery, who fitted a 3.8 litre engine and disc brakes all round. An exciting and very useable car.

There is a photograph of this car bearing registration number JGB 52 in Jaguar Driver magazine Sept 1980 p.23. Th photo was taken by Paul Skilleter at Castle Combe Circuit in 1972. The car was considerably modified for racing.
